Nonsurgical spine treatments
Our team of highly-skilled spine specialists will build a treatment plan to help alleviate your pain. If you're experiencing a neck or back condition or injury, we will try and prioritize nonsurgical treatments, such as pain management and physical therapy.
Pain management techniques, including nerve blocks, can help relieve discomfort associated with a nerve or spine condition. Physical therapy helps you strengthen your muscles and regain function. These treatments may be prescribed by your physician as a first line of care or as postoperative rehabilitation.
SI joint disorder treatment
The integrity of your SI joint may be vulnerable to damage if the ligaments that cover the joint become disrupted due to injury or degeneration. By allowing the joint to have excessive motion, your joint and surrounding nerves may become inflamed.
Your physician may recommend one or more of the following treatments for SI joint disorders:
- Medication — This may help relieve your pain and reduce inflammation.
- Physical therapy — Strengthening and pelvic stabilization exercises can reduce the movement in your SI joint.
- SI belt — This treatment wraps around your hips to support and stabilize your pelvis and SI joint.
- SI joint injections — By reducing inflammation in your SI join with an injection, we may be able to relieve your pain.
Spine surgery
If nonsurgical care does not fully address your symptoms, surgery may be an option for you. We use minimally invasive surgery whenever possible to promote your best possible recovery. Our surgical care options include:
- Discectomy
- Laminectomy
- Lumbar decompression
- Nonfusion treatments
- Spinal fusion
- Cervical fusion
- Lumbar fusion
Robot-assisted spinal fusion
Using robotic technology, our spine surgeons can locate anatomical structures and place spinal implants with a high degree of accuracy. This advanced spine surgery combines the benefits of navigation and robotic guidance into one treatment. Our spine surgeons work to improve many conditions, including fractures, slipped discs and scoliosis.
