Jake Taylor named as new COO

With over 10 years of hospital leadership experience and a passion for health care, Jake Taylor is ready to take on his new position as COO.

Ogden Regional Medical Center announces the appointment of Jake Taylor as the new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Jake brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence from his recent role as COO at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.

Jake has contributed years to building strong teams and achieving results in service line growth, physician recruitment, operational excellence, employee engagement and quality. Jake has over ten years of hospital leadership experience, with prior roles at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls ID, MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces NM, and Northwest Medical Center in Tucson AZ. He also served as an analyst with HCA’s Capital Division in Richmond VA and got his start in healthcare as an administrative intern at Timpanogos Hospital here in Utah.

Jake was raised in Idaho Falls, ID and loves to return as often as possible to enjoy the great Idaho outdoors. He and his wife have 5 daughters. A proud ‘girl dad’, he enjoys coaching his girls in softball, mountain biking, skiing, cooking and spending time outdoors with family. Jake holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Public Health degree from Brigham Young University.

Jake has always had a passion for healthcare, and has a personal mission to build others, lead strong teams, and ensure the highest quality care is available to communities he serves.
