Spiritual support
Part of our commitment to providing comprehensive care includes offering spiritual support to our patients and their loved ones.
Chaplain support you can rely on
Ogden Regional Medical Center provides pastoral care services for the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families. We understand how important this support means to individuals and loved ones when facing the news of a new diagnosis, or in dealing with the unknown or anticipation of death, grief and loss.
Contact chaplains by dialing "0" for the operator
At times, our chaplains serve as facilitators of communication among patients, family members, and our hospital medical staff and physicians. Chaplains are available for listening, assisting in tough decision-making, simply being present, facilitating grief, providing a prayer, sacraments, contacting local clergy and family, helping with ethical consultation, and intervening on the patient’s behalf.
Our chaplains
Our staff chaplains are lay and ordained ministers who practice the art of spiritual care and inter-faith ministry. We are trained to assist with crisis situations, end of life support, or even a warm heart and a kind ear at any time. Our staff chaplains make daily rounds to visit patients in all areas of the hospital. We are also available at all hours of the day and night. If you would like to speak to a chaplain at any time, please ask your nurse to contact us.
Interfaith chapel
Our Interfaith Chapel is open at all times for prayer and meditation. It is located between the second surgical and third medical units near the ICU. Take some time to sit in this peaceful space or write a prayer request.
