Logan native Stacey Crandall chosen to lead Cache Valley Hospital
Longtime nurse leader and Logan native Stacey Crandall has been tapped for the blended role of chief executive officer (CEO) and chief nursing officer (CNO) at Cache Valley Hospital. She has been serving in an interim capacity since late 2025, and now officially takes the helm of the facility where her nursing career first began.
Crandall most recently served as the Vice President of Nursing Operations for HCA Healthcare’s Mountain Division, supporting nearly 4,000 nurses across Utah’s MountainStar Healthcare network, as well as facilities in Idaho and Alaska. Her 25-year healthcare career began at the 28-bed Logan hospital shortly after it opened in 2000.
“It’s a privilege to serve this community that has been such a big part of my life and career,” said Crandall. “Our team delivers outstanding, high-quality care every day, and I’m excited to build on that foundation as we continue to earn the trust of more families in and around our beautiful valley.”
Over the course of her 25-year healthcare career, Crandall has advanced from bedside nursing to leadership roles while serving at four HCA Healthcare hospitals. She served as the director of emergency services at Cache Valley Hospital before taking on the same role at Brigham City Community Hospital and Ogden Regional Medical Center. In May 2023, she became the Assistant CNO at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where she led care improvement initiatives at the 304-bed facility and Level II Trauma Center. She also brings experience in home health and hospice care.
Crandall holds a healthcare-focused MBA degree from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University.

Cache Valley Hospital first opened in 2000 and joined the HCA Healthcare family in 2014. It has earned numerous quality recognitions, including an HCA Healthcare Unit of Distinction Award for ranking in the top 5% of the network’s emergency departments, a 5-star specialty rating from Healthgrades for sepsis treatment, and back-to-back Women’s Choice awards for ER wait times and efficiency.
